Building Automation and Security

When it comes to building automation and security there are many vendors in the marketplace but one stands out as not only having a complete integrated product portfolio but also the specification to match. Leviton has for many years been leading the way in automation and energy management systems and GEN are proud to be one of only a few UK Leviton Dealers offering commercial solutions and of course we have a full compliment of Leviton Automation and Security installed and maintained at all our own sites.

Introducing Omni-Bus

Leviton’s Omni-Bus controls lights, shades, fans, shutters, pumps, and more. Utilizing the worldwide DIN rail standard for mounting, this bus and controller based management family controls CFL, LED, electronic low voltage, Halogen,
and incandescent lighting. Each hard-wired or wireless device works in 110-120VAC/220-240VAC 50-60Hz markets unless otherwise noted. Modular Omni-Bus components can be located where needed to save wiring and installation costs.

Why is Omni-Bus Better?

Elegant, multi-button programmable wall switches eliminate the expense of in-wall high voltage wiring to multi-way switches. Whereas competing central lighting systems require home runs to a single central cabinet, Omni-Bus power wiring is minimized as controllers can be localized to switches and switches can be programmed to perform a number of actions.

How Does Omni-Bus Work?

All modules in an Omni-Bus system are connected together using a low voltage Cat5 UTP bus. Buttons on wired or wireless wall stations can be con gured to operate any Omni-Bus load or scene.

Flexible Architecture

Omni-Bus architecture includes low cost splitters and T-connections for ease of installation and expandability.
The network can be star, hub and spoke, daisy chain or a combination. Splitters allow for a free topology architecture. Versatility that’s perfect for small businesses, featuring the bene ts of central lighting control with the exibility of distributed control systems.

Automation Systems

A Lumina automation system provides comprehensive energy management and sophisticated lighting control
to both homes and small commercial buildings using easy- to-install devices. Leviton systems can support hundreds of lights, dozens of thermostats, water heaters, pumps, generators, and a wide variety of smart devices from Leviton and our partners.

Energy Management

ZigBee® wireless devices allow customers to monitor and control temperature, humidity, and heavy-duty loads based on occupancy or time/day. Manage water heaters, fountains, pool pumps, generators, ceiling fans, irrigation, ventilation, compressors, drapes, shades, shutters, and phantom loads. Easily automate the property based on occupancy or event.

Less Components, More Savings, Lumina Gateway

The Lumina Gateway is a self-contained wireless automation controller with remote access capabilities that combines traditionally separate components into a single, ready-to-go boxed solution. The Lumina Gateway functions as an energy management coordinator for Lumina RF components including occupancy sensors, switches, door and window sensors and thermostats. This allows for automated control of loads and remote control via the Lumina Mobile app. Lumina RF solutions are ideal for small new construction and retrofit applications, including:

  • Quick-service restaurants
  • Cafes and coffee shops
  • Retail shops
  • Franchise stores
  • Small and private office spaces

When it comes to interconnectivity and functionality then HomeSeer HS3 has everything your ever going to need. Integrating Seamlessly with Leviton Panels, DSC, Lutron, and many more. Homeseer is more than just an automation system, but also provides a full range of cross platform integration services to link OmniBus to Philips HUE for example. As Homeseer installers we can offer the very best bespoke systems with full support backup. We also develop 'plug-ins' for Homeseer to integrate with other hardware as required.

We also work on Integrating Homeseer HS3 with third party devices and systems. A couple of examples are the Sonoff + Tasmota + MQTT + Homeseer Integration plugin and the KMTronic Plug-in and Creating Devices on HomeSeer HS3 Plugin, both of which we developed in house. We are more than happy to look at any specific hardware or system and quote for integration with Homeseer HS3 and/or Leviton Omni
