Despite everyone's best efforts there can be situations where suppliers and customerrs are in dispute and that dispute is of a technical nature. Sometimes the customers do not fully understand the technical aspects and likewise the suppliers do not fully understand the customers concerns and we deal with such situations on a weekly basis. In many cases a resolution can be achieved without the need for costly and drawn out legal proceedings which in many cases results on no clear winner.
Our process is simple and well practiced. We'll spend time with the customer and fully understand their requirements and concerns, then we'll spend time with supplier and understand their issues and concerns after which we'll draw up an internal document pinpointing the areas of contention. The next step is to mediate and attempt to broker a workable solution between the parties which in many cases is the end of the process and everyone is happy.
If there's still unresolved issues and seperate mediation is going nowhere then we'll arrange to meet both parties at a neutral location and foster a compromise on the remaining issues.
In the rare case than we're still unable to broken a mutually satisfactory resolution then we can offer two further options
Where both parties understand that their differences are differcult and many and that any hope of a amicable resolution is long past then we can, with the agreement of both parties adjudicate over the contracts in question. Adjudication allows a resolution to be reached that whilst not fully satisfactory to either party does bring about closure.
When all avenues have been exhausted and there only option forward is legal then we'll assist both parties in technical preparation of their cases, but we will not take sides.
