Yealink have a wide range of IP Telephony endpoints with some impressive corporate features. Leveraging these features to maximum effect requires close integration with your IP Telephony Platform. At GEN we have been supplying Yealink for many years and have extensive experience with Integration and Applications.
Remote Phone Books
The Yealink endpoint allows remote phonebook information to be retrieved periodically from the phone system to ensure all phones have up-to-date directories. We've already integrated this directory with OsTicket, vTigerCRM, SugarCRM and many other systems to automatically pull contacts and format them for the endpoints. If you're considering or already have Yealink T series and would like to integrate your CRM or contact systems then give us a call.
XML Applications
The Yealink firmware allows Applications to be pushed and pulled to and from the endpoint to allow things like, but not limited to Searching your CRM, or sending a notification to an internal system, or even add notes to a customer's record. All can be done via the XML API and we've experience in developing and deploying these applications.
Unified Telephony
The Yealink handsets run on Android 5, and have a full compliment of features to integrate with IP Systems, but also to bring some convergence between handset and desktop through both their API and the API's provided by leading switch vendors such as Asterisk. In a simple setup, a user can click 'dial' on their CRM system and the phone will automatically make the call. Likewise, an incomming call can automatically lookup the company, and contact and show it on the screen. In a more advanced scenario, the one we actually use Internally, incomming callers are matched to customers, then matched to their account manager and finally transferred into a queue for that manager.
